Growing up in Montana I spent a decent amount of time in Yellowstone National Park, this trip I focused on capturing the raw beauty and diverse landscapes of the park. The project emphasized the interplay of light, color, and texture across iconic features like geysers, hot springs, and wildlife. I used a mix of wide-angle shots and detailed close-ups to tell the story of Yellowstone’s unique natural environment.

This project was just for me, but I was able to create a portfolio of high-resolution edited images, suitable for prints or digital displays. I shot all of this in the spring of 2024 while visiting the park with some friends who had never been, was all shot in one day so I didn't have much time to explore each individual area. The resulting collection was small, but will always serve as a fond memory of a meaningful trip with friends. It also gave me massive inspiration for some future landscape photography and hopefully I make it back soon.
